The Big Announcement!!!!!
Firstly thank you very much to all the boys and girls who entered the "Design your dream home" competition. We have had an unbelievable response with over 100 entries (which is why the announcement is delayed- I'm very sorry to have kept you waiting).
I can confidently say that the future of architectural design is in safe hands in the generations to come, with the imaginative and creative ideas that were sent in.
I wish I could award all of you. Three of us have spent days deciding who should be the winner. It was extremely close in the end. It could have gone to one of 10 children.
But with further ado!!
The Winners are ....
In third place with a very creative take on the classic tree house, bringing the outside inside, it's little Aleksandra from Limerick. (50e to your chosen charity)
In Second place with an under water themed home for the Shark King himself, it's Layna. (50e one4allvoucher)

Erin!!!!! Only 8 years of age.
I heard Erin had been working on her design in secret before showing it to her parents to enter the competition. Bringing everyone back to their childrenhood with a Grand Design of Lego engineering, Erin designed a dream home that everyone wants. From teleporters to a horse riding roof top, the design came with a detailed specification of what each floor included, which is vital in explaining you design.
