I NEED TO BE TESTED FOR COVID-19. WHAT HAPPENS?
13th Oct 2020
Middletown Centre for Autism
Many children and young people will need to be tested for Covid-19 and it is important to visually describe the testing process. This will prepare them for the experience which then helps to reduce anxiety.
‘What if I need to be tested?’ is an excellent peer narrated video created by the Daughters of Charity Disability Support Services which explains the testing procedure.

In addition, we are sharing a social narrative, designed by the Centre, clarifying the steps involved in the Covid-19 test.
Rules and procedures will vary depending on where you live and may change over time, so you may need to adapt the narrative accordingly.
