School attendance matters - a parent's guide
8th Jan 2020
If a child of compulsory school age is registered at a school it is essential that they attend their school regularly and maintain a pattern of good attendance throughout their school career.
This is a guide provided by the Department of Education to help parents. We are fortunate that pupil attendance in our school is generally very good. The school's Educational Welfare Officer visits the school on a number of occasions during the year to monitor that pupil attendance is at an acceptable level and that the school promotes high attendance. Your support in this matter is very much appreciated.
