Congratulations to Max Mc Ginnis winner of the the Split the Pot / Scoilt an Próca fundraising draw which took place at a whole school assembly earlier today. Thank you to Friends of St. Brigids / Cairde Naomh Bríd for organising this fundraiser, emptying the envelopes and counting the money each week. Committee members, Mrs Karen Mc Peake and Mrs Grainne Bradley, counted the money this morning and were present for the draw. Year 1 pupil Dan drew the winning envelope and PJ a Year 7 pupil held the box containing all the envelopes. A massive thank you / go raibh maith agat to each and every person who put a £1 in an envelope this week and during the past seven weeks. £280 was donated. When the pot was split £140 was lodged in the school fundraising account and the remaining £140 was presented to the lucky winner. Thank you everyone / Go raibh mile maith agaibh. We are also extremely grateful to the generous and anonymous sponsor who has covered the cost of the printed envelopes.
