Congratulations to Gerry Mc Eldowney winner of the the Split the Pot / Scoilt an Próca fundraising draw which took place at a whole school assembly earlier today. Thank you to Friends of St. Brigids / Cairde Naomh Bríd for organising this fundraiser, emptying the envelopes and counting the money each week. Committee members, Mrs Ursula O'Loughlin and Mrs Danielle Bradley, counted the money this morning and were present for the draw. Year 1 pupil Niamh drew the winning envelope and Liam a Year 7 pupil held the box containing all the envelopes. A massive thank you / go raibh maith agat to each and every person who put a £1 in an envelope this week and during the past seven weeks. £250 was donated. When the pot was split £125 was lodged in the school fundraising account and the remaining £125 was presented to the lucky winner. Thank you everyone / Go raibh mile maith agaibh. We are also extremely grateful to the generous and anonymous sponsor who has covered the cost of the printed envelopes.
