Congratulations to Martin Cassidy , winner of the the Split the Pot / Scoilt an Próca fundraising draw today. Thank you to Friends of St. Brigids / Cairde Naomh Bríd for organising this fundraiser, emptying the envelopes, counting the money ( Mrs Frances Mc Kenna and Mrs Grainne Bradley) and to committee member Mrs Frances Mc Kenna, for overseeing the draw this afternoon. Year 1 pupil Cathan drew the winning envelope and Caití a Year 7 pupil held the box containing all the envelopes. A massive thank you / go raibh maith agat to each and every person who put a £1 in an envelope and entered the draw. £358 was donated. When the pot was split £179 was lodged in the school fundraising account and the remaining £179 has been sent to the lucky winner. Thank you everyone / Go raibh mile maith agaibh. We are also extremely grateful to the generous and anonymous sponsor who has covered the cost of the printed envelopes.
