Stations of the Cross/ Turas na Croise for Children Narrated by Mrs Mc Master (English) and Múinteoir Clare (Irish)
Hello boys and girls / Dia daoibh
I hope you are all well on this special day - Good Friday 2020. You may remember that we had the 14 pictures of the Stations of the Cross on display around the Assembly Hall during the week before school closed. I had been really looking forward to the Primary 6 / Rang 6 Assembly on the Stations of the Cross which should have taken place on Wednesday of this week.
So, I thought that it would be nice if we spent a little time together today reflecting on the stations of the cross.
The Stations of the Cross focus on events during the last day Jesus spent on earth as a man. They give us HOPE- they let us know that at this strange and difficult time Jesus walks with us.
Your parents and maybe even you are perhaps a little worried about the coronavirus but we can be confident that Jesus is always with us.
So join with me now as we look at the Stations of the Cross ( you will have seen similar pictures to these on the walls of your church) and pray.
We will say together We adore you O Christ and we bless you
Because You have redeemed the world.
Or join Múinteoir Clare to do the Stations of the Cross in Irish.
Ar mhaith libh éisteacht le Staisiúin na Croise ?
Éistigí leo agus smaoinigh ar dhóigheanna go dtiocfadh libhse bhur saol a chaitheamh ar nós Íosa.
